A one-day seminar on the future of Australian eucalyptus plantations will be held in Melbourne on February 13, 2025.
Australia now has around 700,000 hectares of eucalyptus plantations, mostly E.globulus on the mainland and E.nitens in Tasmania.

* Long-term China supply of hardwood and softwood resources
* Future softwood log and lumber suppliers to China
* Future hardwood log and woodchip suppliers to China
* Future Australian hardwood supply
* Alternative markets for Australian eucalyptus pulpwood
* The role tree carbon is playing – or could play – in Australia, and
* India – a market for Australian softwood and hardwood logs.
