EWP manufacturer Niftylift has taken out a top honour at a European industry award ceremony.

After being shortlisted in two categories at the 2026 Hire Awards of Excellence, Niftylift emerged from a strong field as winner of the Hire Industry Supplier of the Year.

Recognition

The Hire Awards of Excellence celebrate the success of companies and individuals across the plant, tool, equipment and event hire industries. Organised by Hire Association Europe (HAE) and the Event Hire Association (EHA), the awards recognise innovation, outstanding products, and the organisations that continue to raise standards across the hire sector.

The awards ceremony in April 2026 was staged at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, where leading figures from across the hire industry celebrated excellence and achievement.

Innovation and industry support

Being shortlisted for both Hire Industry Supplier of the Year and Hire Industry Product of the Year highlighted Niftylift’s continued focus on delivering innovative access platforms while supporting rental companies with reliable, efficient and sustainable solutions.

The Product of the Year industry award nomination recognised the impact of the HR12N (MK3) narrow electric boom lift, the latest generation of Niftylift’s compact access platform. Designed to deliver efficiency, low-weight construction, and enhanced operator capability, the EWP gives rental companies a versatile, zero-emission solution suited to indoor and confined working environments.

The HR12N (MK3) is part of Niftylift’s range of compact self-propelled boom lifts designed for working at height in warehouses, factories and other confined indoor environments.

Innovation

Niftylift has built its reputation on designing machines that combine performance, low-weight engineering, and safety technologies. These innovations help rental companies maximise utilisation, reduce operating costs and improve productivity across a range of working environments.

The Supplier of the Year industry award shortlist also reflected Niftylift’s broader commitment to customer support, engineering excellence, and long-term partnerships with hire companies across the industry.

Celebrating contributions across the hire sector

The Hire Awards of Excellence are regarded as one of the most respected annual events within the European hire industry, recognising the organisations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions over the previous year.
Niftylift was recognised among this year’s shortlisted companies and was named Hire Industry Supplier of the Year.

“To be recognised as Supplier of the Year for the third year running is a fantastic achievement for the whole team,” said a company spokesman. “It reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment Niftylift puts into supporting its customers and delivering products that meet the needs of the hire industry.”

Niftylift HR12NE

While the MK3 isn’t available in Australia at the time of writing, Niftylift Australia does offer the HeightRider 12 Narrow Electric (HR12NE), a 12.1m self-propelled, zero-emission EWP that can be driven from the cage while elevated or lowered. It also delivers a wide working envelope from a narrow-aisle, manoeuvrable chassis.

The HR12NE’s compact dimensions make it ideal for working where narrow-aisle operation is required, and efficient all-electric drive motors provide power and gradeability. A compact turning circle makes manoeuvring easy. Its low weight coupled with compact dimensions can also reduce transportation costs by allowing the use of a smaller, more efficient site-to-site transport vehicle.

The HR12NE utilises an efficient battery power system with an all-electric drive. It has a standard duty cycle of 75, allowing the HR12NE to work up to five days on one charge, and the impact-resistant ToughCage can accommodate two people and their tools.

The HR12NE features Niftylift’s multi-award-winning Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System – SiOPS® – which instantly stops all machine functions if the operator is pushed onto the cage control console by an obstacle, preventing serious injury.
