The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) has announced the 2025 Asia Pacific Tree Climbing Championship (APTCC) will be held in Brisbane at the Capalaba Regional Park, Pittwin Rd N, Capalaba QLD 4157 from May 23 to 25, 2025.
Hosted by the Queensland Arboricultural Association Inc. (QAA), this prestigious event brings together top climbing arborists from across the Asia Pacific region to compete, connect, and promote safe and innovative work practices.
Held over three days, the APTCC will feature preliminary rounds, the Masters’ Challenge, and the popular Arbor Fair – an interactive event that engages the public and showcases the importance of trees and professional tree care.
This marks a rare opportunity for the Australian arboriculture community to host an ISA regional championship, and the QAA is proud to facilitate such a high-calibre event on home soil.
The QAA is currently seeking volunteers and sponsors to support the delivery of the 2025 APTCC. Whether you’re an industry professional, supplier, or business looking to align with arboricultural excellence, we encourage you to get involved.
